Chris Runs America will also be raising awareness and encouraging donations for the Male Breast Cancer Happens organizations so men everywhere can check their breasts and know they are not alone.

As a Faith-First Performance Coach, Chris Avery is on a mission to lead by example and prove that there is more inside of us than we think.
In 2022, Chris challenged himself to run 1 mile every day for 7 days since he hates running and had never run consecutively for one week before. He kept the streak going and came to his wife, Melanie, with the idea to run across America. After some research and more conversations they decided that wasn't hard enough and too many people have done it. Eventually they landed on running the perimeter of America every day of 2027, after a 5 year running streak with increasing miles.
This self-inflicted challenge will be full of low lows and high highs, aches, pains, tears, grit, views, admiration for the American border beauty, and unforgettable family memories. With God as his constant teammate on the road, Chris will complete his mission.
Running the perimeter of America, with 365 consecutive ultramarathons, isn't about setting a new record, it's about pushing past mental barriers, embracing personal growth, and inspiring others to do the same. With his family by his side in the RV, Chris will explore America like never before - proving that with the roots of determination and purpose, anything is possible.
